Tim Davis is the founder of Cybersalt Consulting Ltd, a Joomla-focused web development and hosting firm based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. He has been working with Joomla since the Mambo days. He runs the Basic Joomla Tutorials YouTube channel, with over 800 videos and 700,000 views since 2013, where he publishes free Joomla training, tutorials, and "Watch Me Work" livestreams. Through Cybersalt he develops the cs-* extension family and manages the support and development of StageIt and MigrateMe 4 on behalf of PHP Web Design. He recently acquired VirtueMartTemplates.net and EnergizeThemes.com, where he is modernizing the template libraries for Joomla 5 and 6. Tim has spoken at JoomlaDay USA for five consecutive years (2022–2026). He and his wife Susan are celebrating 40 years of marriage this year and have three married children and six grandchildren.
