1. Organizer

The Joomla World Conference 2026 (hereinafter referred to as “the Conference”) is organized by:

By purchasing a ticket, the participant agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to personal reasons, illness, travel disruption, visa issues, or scheduling conflicts.

If the Conference is cancelled by the organizer (J and Beyond e.V.), the full ticket price will be refunded.

No further claims shall be accepted. In particular, the organizer shall not be liable for any travel costs, accommodation costs, loss of income, or other expenses incurred by participants.

3. Ticket Transfer

Tickets are transferable to another person.

The original ticket holder is responsible for ensuring that the ticket transfer is properly completed in accordance with the organizer’s procedures (if applicable).

Resale of tickets for commercial purposes or above face value is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by the organizer.

4. Travel and Accommodation

Participants are solely responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel and accommodation.

The organizer does not reimburse travel or accommodation expenses under any circumstances.

Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance, including trip cancellation insurance.

5. Speakers

At this time, the organizer is unable to provide complimentary tickets for speakers.

Speakers are required to purchase a regular conference ticket.

6. Program Changes and Force Majeure

The organizer reserves the right to modify the program, venue, schedule, speakers, or any other aspect of the Conference if necessary.

In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, public health emergencies, strikes, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, the organizer shall not be held liable for the cancellation or modification of the Conference.

7. Photo, Video and Media Rights

During the Conference, photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings may be taken by the organizer or authorized third parties.

By attending the Conference, participants grant J and Beyond e.V. the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display such recordings in which they may appear, in whole or in part, for documentation, reporting, marketing, promotional, and archival purposes.

This includes use in print materials, websites, social media, press releases, and other communication channels worldwide, without compensation.

If a participant does not wish to appear in media recordings, they must inform the organizer in writing prior to the event and make reasonable efforts to avoid being recorded.

8. Liability

The organizer shall only be liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

Participation in the Conference is at the participant’s own risk.

9. Visa

Attendees from countries outside the Schengen Area may require a Schengen visa to enter Germany. It is the responsibility of each attendee to determine their visa requirements and apply accordingly. Following ticket purchase, please contact us to request an invitation letter – this will be required for visa applications. In the event of a visa rejection, your ticket will be fully reimbursed.
