Joomla turns 21 this year - and what better way to celebrate than by honouring the people, projects, and tools that make our community what it is?
Say hello to the J!Awards 2026, Joomla's brand-new Community Choice Awards.
Across 8 categories - from extensions, templates and hosting to website designs, articles and the contributors behind them - you can nominate and vote for the work that inspires you most.
And here's the best part for us: the winners won't just be announced in a blog post. They'll be celebrated live on stage at the Joomla World Conference 2026 in Potsdam. It's exactly the kind of moment that's better in person - the applause, the surprises, and the chance to congratulate the winners face to face.
You don't need to be a longtime contributor to take part. If you use Joomla, you're already part of the community - and your voice belongs in these awards.
Key dates
- Nominations: 17 August - 13 September 2026
- Voting: 21 September - 11 October 2026
